Our group of local heroes are rising to the challenge of 70k in May – walking, running (10k and marathon), cycling (the distance from Lands End to – Romanby), and swimming (70k = 2,800 lengths) to get there, we hope, several times over!
Your donation will encourage us along the way, and will be put to such good use in Christian Aid's work to help the most in need push back against poverty and make a future for their families.
The money raised can help ensure more people get the skills and knowledge they need to fulfil their hopes and ambitions. £10 could provide one person with the training that supports their family to set up a small business, such as selling home-grown vegetables.

Another shout out and well done to the fantastic Team Applegarth who are joining in enthusiastically with 70K in May. In week 1 the staff logged an excellent 54, 750m, and are making a great contribution to the (first?) 70k for the swimming team.
