How your fundraising helps
When deadly floods swept through her village in Ethiopia, Donnay and her children were forced to flee in the middle of the night. Pregnant with her youngest daughter, she escaped with nothing. Her farm was washed away and her family's livestock later taken by crocodiles.
Donnay and her family arrived in Old Omo village hungry, homeless and empty-handed. Her children were at dire risk of malnutrition.
With support from our trusted partner, Agri Service Ethiopia, Donnay is now planting new crops and feeding her family. Your fundraising this Christmas could support more mothers like Donnay to rebuild their farms and create a more secure future.
