This Christian Aid Week, residents of Swaledale and Arkengarthdale are supporting families facing hunger in Nairobi.
Parents like Fridah are growing food in small city spaces so their children can eat. With tools, seeds and training, families can plan for the future.
Please give what you can this Christian Aid Week. Envelopes will be delivered to you by volunteers and you can then take this to your local collector/drop off point or to Reeth Post Office.
You can come and join with other supporters at our annual CA service which this year takes place at Gunnerside Methodist Chapel at 7.30pm on Thursday 7th May
You can also bring and buy cakes and produce to Reeth market on Friday 17th May where supporters we will be hosting the stall that morning from 8.30am. We are also happy to accept your envelope donations here too.
Later in the year you can join us at St Andrew's Grinton for the annual fun church service of 'Come and Sing' Carols on Sunday 6th December at 4pm.
We look forward to your support at one or more of these opportunities to help those much less fortunate than ourselves.
