My story

This Christmas, Haddington Churches are making it possible for you to support families who've have fled from violence to buy food and lifesaving supplies.

In places like South Sudan, for families like Shede's, the daily struggle is not just for safety but also to protect their children from hunger and malnutrition. Having left everything behind, they arrive in refugee settlements with just the clothes they fled in.

Even resilient individuals now face an uncertain future.

Please give what you can. With your help, we can support families like Shede's find some comfort and joy during conflict.

How your money helps

This Christmas, support families in the Democratic Republic of Congo who’ve fled violence.

For mothers like Chance, daily life in a displacement camp means finding enough food, medicine and shelter to keep her children alive. But your fundraising can make a life-saving difference. Every pound raised could provide cash grants that:

  • Give families the dignity to buy food, medicine and essentials.
  • Bedding, blankets and shelter to protect children traumatised by conflict.
  • Vital supplies that bring comfort and hope in the darkest of times

Your donations, this Christmas, will bring hope to those who need it most.
