My story

In our unhappy world with so many people displaced by war or natural disasters and others struggling in poverty please support Hoddesdon Christian Aid Group's annual fundraising quiz - our 26th! 

In troubled areas through Christian Aid's work with partners help can be given to support vulnerable people and provide essentials like food, water, medicine, bedding and shelter - things we mostly take for granted.

This Christmas we hope you will have lots of fun with the quiz but be mindful that we, who have so much,  can help to support such people through our donations. Thank you!

How your money helps

This Christmas, support families in the Democratic Republic of Congo who’ve fled violence.

For mothers like Chance, daily life in a displacement camp means finding enough food, medicine and shelter to keep her children alive. But your fundraising can make a life-saving difference. Every pound raised could provide cash grants that: 

  • Give families the dignity to buy food, medicine and essentials.
  • Bedding, blankets and shelter to protect children traumatised by conflict.
  • Vital supplies that bring comfort and hope in the darkest of times
