My story

Like so many of us, Imote would do anything for his family.

After sadly losing both of his parents at a young age, 21 year old Imote was caring for his nine siblings by working on an orange farm left to him by his father – until the pandemic hit Nigeria. Unable to sell his produce and struggling to feed his young family, Imote received financial support from Christian Aid. Now he can keep his family and business afloat. By supporting us you will give more families and children these opportunities to thrive.

How your money helps

This Harvest, you can stand with farming families facing the climate crisis.

Unpredictable weather is destroying crops, making it harder to grow the food communities depend on. But with the right support, farmers can adapt and rebuild their livelihoods.

Every pound you give could help:

  • Provide training on climate-smart farming techniques.
  • Supply seeds and tools to grow crops that withstand floods and drought.
  • Support community savings groups so farmers can access small loans and plan for the future.
