My story

For Christian Aid Week I am challenging myself to cycle 25 miles from St Albans to London, as part of the Cathedrals Cycle Relay 2025, to support Christian Aid's humanitarian work with people and communities suffering hunger, loss or displacement through climate crisis.

In Guatemala and many other parts of the world extreme weather conditions are destroying farmers' crops and food sources. Despite these challenges, they are learning new skills to grow resilient crops and protect their families from hunger.

Your support can help fund the vital training these farmers need. Please give what you can to help them build a sustainable future.

How your money helps

This Christian Aid Week, you can support communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis.

In places like Guatemala, extreme weather is destroying crops, deepening hunger and threatening livelihoods. But with the right tools and training, farmers can build sustainable futures.

Every pound you raise could help:

  • Provide climate-resilient seeds to help families grow food.
  • Fund water conservation techniques to protect crops.
  • Support vital training so farmers can build a sustainable future.
