I’m fundraising by running the Bournemouth Half Marathon. This will be my first long-distance run since I suffered an angina attack two years ago, so something of a personal challenge and milestone.
This Harvest season, Christian Aid are helping farmers facing climate chaos build a brighter, more resilient future.
Around the world, traditional farming methods are failing against extreme weather and climate change. Even experienced farmers, like Nyarai in Zimbabwe, urgently need to learn new skills to prevent hunger and malnutrition.
Christian Aid is working to empower farmers to become more resilient. For example, they provide training in sustainable farming techniques that can withstand extreme weather. This helps farmers maintain their livelihoods and feed their families.
The money raised can help ensure more farmers get the skills and knowledge they need to secure their future.
