My story

The people of Linlithgow have always been generous in Christian Aid week.  Since last year we have seen in the news so many lives affected by war, earthquakes and cyclones.  As we have watched, sometimes feeling helpless in knowing what we can do, Christian Aid has been helping. They have been there working with local partners to help all of these people by providing shelter, clean water and warmth and much more.  Please give to this envelope to help them with this important work.

Thank you.

How your money helps

Poverty pushed Aline to the brink. She was abused, homeless and hungry. But Aline pushed back harder. With Christian Aid funded small business training, she achieved what had seemed impossible, a vital income for her and her children.

Fundraising this Christian Aid Week will ensure more people in Burundi get the skills and knowledge they need to push back against the inhumanity of poverty.
