My story

During May,  Ann Thomson and Val Hall are doing a 300000 step challenge to raise money for Christian Aid.

Soaring costs are affecting people around the world. Families in Malawi are pay the price of this global crisis where food, fuel, fertiliser and the cost of education has double in this past year. Hard working farmers are seeing their harvests fail as the climate crisis bring increasingly erratic weather.

Your donation could help them plant better seeds, secure a fairer price for the crops and build happier futures for their families.

How your money helps

Poverty pushed Aline to the brink. She was abused, homeless and hungry. But Aline pushed back harder. With Christian Aid funded small business training, she achieved what had seemed impossible, a vital income for her and her children.

Fundraising this Christian Aid Week will ensure more people in Burundi get the skills and knowledge they need to push back against the inhumanity of poverty.
