My story

We are raising money for Christian Aid who are using the money in various projects round the world The money you raise this Christian Aid week 14 - 21 May will go towards people in Southern Africa who are being hit by climate change, and struggling to feed their families. The money goes towards enabling people to grow crops and set up their own smallholdings, using research to use drought resistant crops which will withstand the drier, warmer weather.

Please give what you can - and gift aid it so that we can raise more funds.

Thank you.

How your money helps

Poverty pushed Aline to the brink. She was abused, homeless and hungry. But Aline pushed back harder. With Christian Aid funded small business training, she achieved what had seemed impossible, a vital income for her and her children.

Fundraising this Christian Aid Week will ensure more people in Burundi get the skills and knowledge they need to push back against the inhumanity of poverty.
