My story

Christian Aid Week this year is from 14-20 May. I, along with others in Theydon Bois, will be delivering envelopes and collecting door to door in aid of Christian Aid. This e-envelope is an alternative way of donating which you may prefer.

We dream of a better world. We want every child to be able to have the education they need to break free from poverty.

The picture above is of Jen Bishop and her son who live in Malawi. She grows peas to raise money for her children's education with help from Christian Aid.

With your help, we can make dreams come true around the world. We won’t stop until everyone can live a full life, free from poverty.

Please give generously. Thank you.

How your money helps

Poverty pushed Aline to the brink. She was abused, homeless and hungry. But Aline pushed back harder. With Christian Aid funded small business training, she achieved what had seemed impossible, a vital income for her and her children.

Fundraising this Christian Aid Week will ensure more people in Burundi get the skills and knowledge they need to push back against the inhumanity of poverty.
