My story

Dear friends,

I know, I know this might look presumptuous, but it will be the gift that keeps on giving. (And it help all of us )

Exactly ten years ago I received one of my most treasured gifts, and it was a gift for a charity to train two doctors in India.it was given by a very receptive and generous person.

Today I am asking if you would consider donating to Christain Aid Charity, instead of any gift you might be thinking of giving my me  as the charity celebrates its 85th anniversary.
It would mean a great honour if you would be willing to donate to a worthy charity

How your money helps

You can stand with farming families in South Sudan as they protect their land and grow food again. 

In Aguat, floodwaters sweep through the village year after year, destroying crops, homes and livestock. But with agricultural training and a small starter gift of groundnuts from our partners, Anok is growing vegetables, selling groundnut paste and supporting other farmers in her community. 

Every pound you raise could help: 

  • provide tools like shovels, sickles and hoes so families can establish their vegetable gardens. 
  • fund practical agricultural training so farmers can adapt to the climate crisis and protect their harvests. 
  • support community-led projects that hold back floodwater and protect families' homes.
