My story

✍️ Your Fundraising Story (For Christian Aid UK):

I am Rev. Mrs. Richard Phoebe Chinomnso, a servant of God, a mother, and a health worker in Nigeria. I am raising funds to host Tephila Season 6 – 40 Nights of Prayer and Fasting, happening from 1st July to 9th August 2025 in Umuahia, Abia State.

This annual event is a divine assignment. It brings together people of all ages to seek God for healing, revival, deliverance, and restoration. Each night, under rain or clear skies, we gather to cry out to God for our families, our youth, and our land.

I believe in the power of prayer and the mercy of God to transform lives. Over the years, we’ve seen testimonies of hope restored, addictions broken, and broken families healed. But this year, we face great challenges — from lack of equipment, tents, sound systems, chairs, and lighting, to feeding volunteers who serve all night.

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Your support will help us provide the minimum we need to host this encounter with dignity and love. Together, we can build this altar of prayer that blesses lives beyond what we can imagine.

I chose Christian Aid because of your heart for people, for justice, and for hope. I believe your mission and our vision align — to see communities revived, not only economically but spiritually.

Please join me. Let’s make this holy season of prayer a reality. May God bless you richly for every seed sown.

How your money helps

This Harvest, you can stand with farming families facing the climate crisis.

Unpredictable weather is destroying crops, making it harder to grow the food communities depend on. But with the right support, farmers can adapt and rebuild their livelihoods.

Every pound you give could help:

  • Provide training on climate-smart farming techniques.
  • Supply seeds and tools to grow crops that withstand floods and drought.
  • Support community savings groups so farmers can access small loans and plan for the future.
