My story

I have been involved with St Michael’s Church, East Ardsley since I was a child attended Services and Sunday school.
When I moved back to East Ardsley in 2022 I became involved with the Church again and was asked to be the coordinator for Christian Aid.

In addition to distributing and collecting Christian Aid envelopes, I have taken part in the 70k challenge, and last year and I arranged a Coffee Morning in the Church Hall. This was a great success and is why l have arranged the Coffee Morning again this year.

Saturday 9th May - 11 am to 1pm

St Michael’s Church Hall, Church Lane, East Ardsley WF3 2LJ

Please show your support, and give what you can this Christian Aid Week, either by donating online or by attending the coffee morning.
As well as enjoying tea, coffee, biscuits and cake, you can also try and win numerous prizes in our raffle.
Many thanks,

Paula

How your money helps

You can support families facing the daily stress of food insecurity in Nairobi.

In the crowded and noisy settlements of Nairobi, parents like Fridah wake up knowing they must earn money – otherwise their children won’t eat that evening. But with tools, seeds and training from our partner, Beacon of Hope, families can grow nutritious vegetables in small city spaces and grow hope for the future.

Every pound you raise could help:

  • provide seeds and tools so people can grow food in small spaces.
  • fund training so people can plan ahead and protect their livelihoods.
  • support community-led projects that strengthen food security and incomes.
