My story

Gyda’n gilydd, gallwn ariannu hyfforddiant i alluogi cymuned fel un Aurelia yn Guatemala, gwlad sy’n delio a heriau enfawr, i dderbyn hyfforddiant arbenigol ar sut i addasu ffermio i’r hinsawdd sy’n newid.  Erbyn hyn, maent yn tyfu cnydau sy’n gallu gwrthsefyll yr hinsawdd, yn cynhyrchu gwrtaith, ac yn adeiladu systemau casglu dŵr glaw. Gyda'n gilydd, rydym yn cynnig gobaith a chefnogaeth i lawer.

In Guatemala, the climate crisis is destroying crops and causing hunger for Indigenous communities. But with hope and support, farmers like Aurelia are fighting back. She’s learning to grow resilient crops, make fertiliser and conserve water. She’s sharing this knowledge with others, helping her community build a sustainable future.

This Christian Aid Week, please give to support farmers in the fight against hunger and the climate crisis.

How your money helps

This Christian Aid Week, you can support communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis.

In places like Guatemala, extreme weather is destroying crops, deepening hunger and threatening livelihoods. But with the right tools and training, farmers can build sustainable futures.

Every pound you raise could help:

  • Provide climate-resilient seeds to help families grow food.
  • Fund water conservation techniques to protect crops.
  • Support vital training so farmers can build a sustainable future.
