My story

In these uncertain times when governments are scaling back aid, please help Christian Aid to continue delivering humanitarian aid and fighting poverty and injustice in over 37 countries by working through local partners like CongCoop in Guatamala.

In Guatemala, the climate crisis is destroying crops and causing hunger for Indigenous communities. Farmers like Aurelia are learning to grow resilient crops, make fertiliser and conserve water. She’s sharing this knowledge with others, helping her community build a sustainable future.

Whatever you can give will help make a difference.

How your money helps

This Christian Aid Week, you can support communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis.

In places like Guatemala, extreme weather is destroying crops, deepening hunger and threatening livelihoods. But with the right tools and training, farmers can build sustainable futures.

Every pound you raise could help:

  • Provide climate-resilient seeds to help families grow food.
  • Fund water conservation techniques to protect crops.
  • Support vital training so farmers can build a sustainable future.
