My story

Burundi yw un o wledydd tlotaf y byd. Dyma Aline, mam a wthiwyd at ymylon bywyd. Rydyn ni’n sylweddoli y bu’n flwyddyn anodd i lawer – a dydi Cymorth Cristnogol ddim yn cymryd eich cefnogaeth yn ganiataol. Ond, gyda’n gilydd gallwn wthio’n ol yn erbyn tlodi eithafol. Gyda’n gilydd, gallwn helpu teuluoedd i gynllunio am dyfodol gwell. Ym mhob rhodd mae gobaith.

In Burundi, malnourishment and poverty affect more than 70% of the population, putting them at the edge of survival.

Coming back from the edge isn't easy when food can be scarce, disease prevalent, and jobs hard to come by.

Aline, pushed to the brink, was abused, homeless and hungry. But Aline pushed back. She found a lifeline through Christian Aid’s small business training and she set up as a grocery wholesaler. This meant Aline achieved what had seemed impossible, a vital income for her and her children.

We can help ensure more people in Burundi get the skills and knowledge they need to fulfil their hopes and ambitions.

Each gift provides hope. "Gwnewch rywbeth i ddangos eich cariad" "Let us love ....in deed and truth." 1 Ioan / John 3:18
