I’m taking on 70K in May to highlight that millions of people have to walk long distances for clean water or to sell their produce.
For example, in Guatemala, farmers like Aurelia are battling extreme weather, but with Christian Aid’s support, they’re learning skills to protect their farms and provide for their families.
Your support can help fund this vital training. Just £20 could buy two pounds of climate-resilient seeds, diversifying a family’s crop and increasing their resilience against the effects of the climate crisis.

Today's walk tally reached the 100km target. Just like me walking more, some people have to walk further to get fresh water. Thank you for you're donations so far, it is not too late to donate. It would be great to get to £1000

Another routine walk along the railway line with Maisie. Total distance walked so far 31k since the 1st May.
Walked 3.6k in shady lane and open road. Was thinking about how hard it would be carrying water in the heat, even though today was not very hot.
Congratulations! This activity has reached 75% of its target of £500.00
No time for a walk, so no water for tomorrow :( Did mow the lawn which was 4.8k walk, so keeping up the miles and on target for 70k in May
Day 6. Routine 3.2k walking Maisie today. It had to be fitted into a busy schedule, but then again, collecting water has to be fitted in every day for so many.
Congratulations! This activity has reached 50% of its target of £500.00
Walked Eype Down to Thorncomeb Beacon. Sea Mist came in on the way up and visibility very poor. Wouldn't want to carry very much water up this hill.
Bluebells on Eype Down Common worth a visit.
This activity's target has been updated to £500.00
3.2k walked around Boarsbarrow hill on 1st May with Maisie. I have been reminded that 70K in May is to highlight the distance walked to fetch water, so half of the walk would have been carrying heavy water
Congratulations! This activity has received its first donation!
