My story
We are Linda and Steve from Hounslow and have been supporting the work of Christian Aid for over 30 years.
We are taking on the 70K in May challenge not only to fundraise but also to raise the profile of Christian Aid among family, friends and our community.
We like Christian Aid's way of working with local partners on the ground, to provide long-term sustainable development in some of the most vulnerable communities. In other words - 'we believe in life before death'.

The activity was closed
on Thursday 23rd May at 11.30 am we completed our 70k in May challenge for Christian Aid.
Our original target of £300 was surpassed and reached £ 513.75.
AMAZING!!!
We have been humbled by the prayers, support and love for the work of Christian Aid. Knocked out by the wonderful conversation we have had about Christian Aid, including why we are doing the 70k challenge and people wanting to know more about ways to help our neighbours like Aline.

We have had a great start to CAW.
Not only did our Sunday Worship focus on CAW and Aline's story but it was followed by a very successful cake sale raising over £296.
Now our 70k in May fundraising target has been passed with a current total of £375 in donations and only 15k more to go.

Getting off the sofa wasn't easy but we have cover 43 of the 70K since Wednesday 1st May.
